Disability Studies Location Change

We are excited to share news regarding the location of the Disability Studies Minor Program Offices. Our campus offices will be closed during spring break, March 23-27 and on Monday, March 30. During this period, the Disability Studies Minor advisor, will be working remotely. As of Tuesday, March 31, 2026, our Disability Studies Minor Program Offices will be located in the new Undergraduate Academic Building (UAB).

Location Transition Details:

Current Location: Evans Hall, Second Floor
NEW Location: Undergraduate Academic Building, Fifth Floor.
When you reach the 5th Floor, please consult the building map across from the elevators for faculty and advising offices.

The Undergraduate Academic Building is located directly west of Dwinelle Hall across Grade Street. As one of the newest additions to UC Berkeley’s campus, this space features beautifully designed, sustainable classrooms featuring the latest in instructional technology, a 400-seat auditorium, and rooftop terrace overlooking Strawberry Creek.

The building is so new it’s not in the campus map yet, but here’s the link to Dwinelle Hall. UAB is located between VLSB and the Creekside Center (on the site of the old Dwinelle Parking Lot.) The entrance to UAB is on the west side of the elevators right off Campanile Way to the north and Frank Schlessinger Way to the south.

Remember to note the new location and availability of your Disability Staff Advisors and Faculty before you see them in-person post Spring Break.  Some may be resuming in-person advising after March 31st as they and tech-support set-up their new offices.

We look forward to seeing you in the UAB!
